As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, driving the lead generation process and contributing to the growth of our sales pipeline. You will play a critical role in identifying qualified prospects, engaging them through outbound efforts, and setting the stage for successful sales conversions. This role is ideal for a proactive, motivated, and target-driven individual who is eager to build a career in sales.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    • Identify and research potential customers and key decision-makers within target industries.
    • Utilize various outreach methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media, to connect with prospects.
  2. Qualifying Leads:
    • Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives.
    • Assess lead quality and ensure alignment with the company's ideal customer profile.
  3. Pipeline Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to prioritize and nurture high-potential leads.
    • Achieve call time goals each day via lead engagement
  4. Collaboration & Communication:
    • Become familiar with Tokes software offerings.
    • Work closely with marketing to align campaigns and share insights on lead quality and messaging effectiveness.
    • Coordinate with Account Executives to schedule meetings and hand off qualified leads seamlessly.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay informed about Cannabis and CBD industry trends, competitive landscape, and product offerings.
    • Continuously improve outreach strategies by analyzing performance metrics and testing new approaches.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role, preferably in B2B sales or SaaS.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.
    • Resilient, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset.
