Job Summary

Toke is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Intern to join our team. This internship offers the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sales, contribute to customer acquisition, and gain hands-on experience in software sales as well as in one of the fastest-growing industries in the United States — Cannabis. The ideal candidate will be driven, a self-starter, eager to learn, and possess strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Toke’s POS, e-commerce, digital menu, and inventory management platform, developing a comprehensive understanding of the platform’s features and functionality
  • Generate leads by cold calling and build relationships by nurturing prospects Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage Toke team members for the next steps
  • Utilize Hubspot and Toke’s Lead Database for outbound calling, email, and in-person visits to generate new sales opportunities and expand the pipeline.
  • Identify prospect's needs and articulate how Toke can solve their challenges and improve their day-to-day business function
  • Maintain detailed lead data, ensuring that the pipeline reflects up-to-date progress and status of prospects; keep detailed records of conversations with prospects to inform future communications
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or intro calls between (prospective) customers and relevant Toke team members

Education: Student is currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
